The scary reality of computer crashes is that the warning signs are few - if any - even when you know what to look for these signs can be very difficult to detect.

Warning

Before I begin, I will mention that I prefer a wired connection when possible. Field is subject to many sources interference, especially in urban areas and some suburban areas where many wireless signals that can interfere. Interference may come from cell cellular and mobile phone towers. Even the wireless devices in the home of a close neighbor or apartment, can cause interference.

Let's Get Started

I'll show how to connect your PC to your TV without cable. The best I could find for the audio stream wirelessly to your stereo system also includes a video map. GWB-4000 Wireless PC to TV Grandtec system was designed to allow computer presentations, games and navigation Internet professional to be shown on televisions or video projectors. The device is currently sold online for $ 149. (Cable connections can be made less $ 30).

Grandtec offers complete with all cables and connectors you need to connect your PC to your TV and stereo. Also included manuals for all that the establishment, but I will discuss the process anyway.

Installation: Safety first

Remember to turn off your computer, stereo and television for the establishment of this connection. Make sure the connection process is completely finished before starting one of these devices. There is little risk hurting yourself, but your home electronics are much more sensitive.

Setting: The Basics

Grandtec GWB-4000 has two boxes. Connects to audio and video outputs on your computer, and a table can be connected to the input audio and video on your TV, audio inputs or stereo. If you have an audio receiver for home-video as part of your entertainment system at home, the box can connect to it as well. Each box has its own Power Adapter.

As with all wireless devices, which work best when there is little obstruction between the transmitter and receiver. GWB-4000 has a range of 125 to 150 feet, but walls of equipment too heavy and directly between the two boxes will reduce the quality of reception. I found microwave ovens and refrigerators start as interference. Try to imagine a straight line between the two boxes and see if the devices directly on the line. If so, discuss the position of the boxes so that the imaginary line is as free as possible. The two boxes in addition to the nearest position possible.

Configuration: From the PC side

GWB-4000 kit has a box that connects to the rear of your computer. Although the table has a range of 100 feet trying to position if there is little barriers between it and the box that connects to your TV.

On the right photo, you connect the PC audio provided by (your) cable to the lime green line Out connection on the back of your PC, and the other end goes to your stereo mini box connection.

If you connect to your TV, disconnect the cable from the computer monitor in the back of the PC, the attachment has provided VGA cable traffic to the same connection on the PC. The other end of the cable connects with the analysis of the connection of the converter box. You will see there is a relationship that is kept in motion for connecting the cable to your PC screen.

Connect the adapter to the PC area and the wall outlet or power strip / surge protector.

Configuration: The next TV

The TV box: The box that connects to a TV or Hi-Fi video composite (yellow). Connect the composite video cable for this connection a video connection on your TV or audio receiver home video. They also have the option of S-video connection. Use the S-video cable if you can for better image quality.

There are RCA red and white audio (sound) oon connections box. Connect the RCA cables connected to the appropriate color (red, white, red and white) and do the same for audio available at all on your TV or stereo stereo.

Some of the more expensive stereo receivers and television multiple connections, and you can see the link called "Enter Video 1" and "Video 2". If you use the GWB-4000 kit for audio and video, make sure that when connected to Video-on-1 "which also uses" Audio 1 ". It will result in numbers that match or the video without sound or video without sound.

Going all in

Turn on the computer and the stereo or television and follow the instructions the kit to get the best sound and picture performance possible for installation. There are several different channels of your GWB-4000 can pass, and you want to know what gives you the best results. Some urban areas may have more sources of interference.
