The only Beatles album that could really be classified as inessential, mostly because it wasn't really a proper album at all, but a soundtrack that only utilized four new Beatles songs. (The rest of the album was filled out with "Yellow Submarine," "All You Need Is Love," and a George Martin score.) What's more, two of the four new tracks were little more than pleasant throwaways that had been recorded during 1967 and early 1968. These aren't all that bad; "All Together Now" is a cute, kiddieish McCartney singalong, while "Hey Bulldog" has some mild Lennon nastiness and a great beat and central piano riff, with some fine playing all around -- each is memorable in its way, and the inclusion of the Lennon song here was all the more important, as the sequence from the movie itself in which it was used was deleted from the original U.S. release of the movie (which had no success whatever in the U.K. and quickly disappeared, thus making the U.S. version the established cut of the film for decades, until the late-'90s restoration and DVD re-release of the movie). George Harrison's two contributions were the more striking of the new entries -- "Only a Northern Song," a leftover from the Sgt. Pepper's sessions, generated from a period in which the guitarist became increasingly fascinated with keyboards, especially the organ and the Mellotron (and, later, the synthesizer), and is an odd piece of psychedelic ersatz, mixing trippiness and some personal comments; its lyrics (and title) on the one hand express the guitarist/singer/composer's displeasure at being tied in his publishing to Northern Songs, a company in which John Lennon and Paul McCartney were the majority shareholders; and, on the other, they present Harrison's vision of how music and recording sounded, from the inside out and the outside in, during the psychedelic era -- the song thus provided a rare glimpse inside the doors of perception of being a Beatle (or, at least, one aspect of being this particular Beatle) circa 1967. And then there was the jewel of the new songs, "It's All Too Much"; coming from the second half of 1967, the song -- resplendent in swirling Mellotron, larger-than-life percussion, and tidal waves of feedback guitar -- was a virtuoso excursion into otherwise hazy psychedelia, that was actually superior in some respects to "Blue Jay Way," Harrison's songwriting contribution of The Magical Mystery Tour; the song also later rated a dazzling cover by Steve Hillage in the middle of the following decade. The very fact that George Harrison was afforded two song slots and a relatively uncompetitive canvas for his music shows how little the project meant to Lennon and McCartney -- as did the cutting of the "Hey Bulldog" sequence from the movie, apparently with no resistance from Lennon, who had other, more important artistic fish to fry in 1968. What is here, however, is a good enough reason for owning the record, though nothing rates it as anything near a high-priority purchase.

This disc may be easier to find in the classical section (this reviewer found it filed under "McCartney" as a composer), but it's worth the search. There have been lots of attempts at applying serious classical virtuosity to the Beatles' music, but Cello Submarine is one of the strangest and most delightful. The 12 cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic (which does not have a "pops" offshoot, or do any repertory deemed beneath it, including a lot of American music and most British music), who arguably are among the greatest cello players in the world by virtue of the orchestra in which they rate their positions, have recorded a dozen Beatles tunes in arrangements exclusively for cellos. The results are about as charming as they are unusual -- the uninitiated will be surprised by the many and varied instrumental voices that the cellists evince in their jaunty rendition of "Yellow Submarine"; similarly, "Let It Be" shows off internal nuances that are only suggested in the Beatles' original; and "Something" sounds so natural that one might almost think that it was written with the cello in mind. "The Fool on the Hill" gets the most ornate treatment, the primary melody blooming in all manner of directions that sustain and extend the basic line of the song; some of what's here gets dangerously close to modern movie music, "Michelle" getting a barely recognizable introduction before the familiar melody of the song -- twisted a bit in the lower registers and stretched out on the accents as well -- appears. "Help" is perhaps the most unexpected track here, however, the players approaching it in a manner that's lean and lyrical, and maintains the original's tempo as well as elements of the vocal harmonies. Ballads, rockers, psychedelic, or pop, the producers recognized few boundaries in preparing this album. This 1983 recording was among the earlier digital recordings ever released commercially, but it suffers from none of the problems of low volume and weak presence that frequently marred digital releases of that period -- evidently the producers here weren't afraid to pump up the volume (how loud could a cello get?), and the result is a clear, sharp recording that captures every nuance off the performances. IPod latest edition - white screen with color bars at random?

My new iPod (its very thin and small and dark, I could be a nano) stopped working. I can still play the music and mix through the menu, but the screen is completely white, except for a few random color bars. I tried to adjust to alternate and keep pressing the buttons and menu selection, but did not work. Please help!

First Instead, what you can not tell what kind of iPod you have, especially if is new?. It is necessary to restore it in iTunes, connect and choose "restore", will erase the iPod and you can then put everything back in it through synchronization, as usual. If this does not need to return as defective that no other options after re-set and restoration.

I've seen in several places on the Internet for people asking how to copy your Xbox 360, and each time it is explained how to get the software and how to do, and always grateful and surprised at how easy it is to do when you have the appropriate software. So in writing this article I hope I will not continue to let people know how to do because they simply can read this.

Before starting the Wizard you will need to copy backup of software called Easy This software allows you to copy video games with a few clicks of a button. Without this program we will not be able to copy and play our games because the software breaks the protection of rights copyright in the disc which then allows us to copy our games.

You can get this software online for a small fee, the cost of its value only for the money we save in the future. When you bought the software to install on your PC, allowing us to implement the software to do this, click the program icon after installation.

The program now displays its user interface, if you wish href = "http://www.backup360.info"> Copy Xbox 360 games, please click on this icon, you'll notice that your computer asks you to insert a blank disc and the disc to copy, please follow the instructions and insert here.

Now that the worst is over, just sit and relax, leaving the team to do the hard work for you. Within minutes, only created a copy of your game console.
