How I can navigate through the iPod while connected 2010 Honda Fit?

I just got the 2010 Honda Fit, and I can connect my ipod, but I can not seem to control the selection of songs. He lets me go forward or backward through songs, instead of moving in the iPod and I hope lettiing what I hear. This is when you connect directly to USB port in the glove compartment. Can the iPod scroll or use the dashboard to control the selection of songs, other, then only forward or backward?

I have not got that specific car, but all I've seen the answer is no. Generally, you can go ahead and back through a playlist, check the mp3 tags and have direct access to the first six playlists but that's it. In reality somehow imitating the actions of a Click Wheel, with buttons of a radio / CD player available ...
