After high school, I want to go to New York University (to study fashion design. What I do not know college to choose the moment). I intend to find an apartment in East Village. College is expensive. It rent, clothes, etc. Do you have tips on living in New York? How do I take a month to live comfortably? Is it safe for a year 19. old? The advantages and disadvantages? Please please please respond with respect. I do not like BS NY the "sucks" or whatever. If it sucks, give me a reason.

Oh! Man U live well in NY are about 4000 + a month. and New York not is as bad as people think. its pretty safe. I've lived here all my life.

What is the best variety of apples to make applesauce awsome?

I remember when I was a kid we made applesauce. The apples are melted in the pot ... no need to run through a trellis. There was also a light pink sauce when done. Does anyone know what variety apple can it be?

I would say it is a bone of Rome from its flesh is white with a little pink. Or maybe your mother Cinnamon Imperial / Red Hots like me instead cinnamon and sugar. I use MacIntosh or Rome or Golden Delicious or Cortland, plus a little water when you make the sauce without having to puree and then use the cinnamon imperial candies when done, but still so hot to melt completely.

"Attention to detail" doesn't necessarily sound like the secret ingredient to brilliant rock & roll, but in Spoon's case, it comes second only to inspiration. Britt Daniel, Jim Eno, and company keep finding ways to challenge themselves and their listeners by working within the same basic, streamlined sonic framework they crafted on Girls Can Tell, adding a few new twists here and there with each album. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga just might be the most winning update on this approach since Girls Can Tell itself: each song is as carefully and creatively pruned as a bonsai tree, with nothing fussy or superfluous to mar the clean lines of the songwriting or arrangements. This is especially impressive considering that on this album, Spoon works with their widest array of sounds yet. Everything from kotos to chamberlains to horns straight out of Motown are fair game on Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga, but they're used so deftly and judiciously that they never feel like window dressing. As on Gimme Fiction, the band maps out Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga's territory within the first three tracks. "Don't Make Me a Target" is a sleek yet gritty prologue designed to draw listeners in like Fiction's "The Beast and Dragon, Adored," and its seductive pull only heightens the impact of "The Ghost of You Lingers." All pounding pianos and fleeting, fragmented verses, the song initially feels like it's all buildup and no release, but this insistent yet incomplete feeling is what makes it haunting and brilliant: its circling thoughts and echoes upon echoes feel like you're chasing the song -- or its subject -- to no avail. Even if "The Ghost of You Lingers" almost perversely avoids hooks, "You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb"'s homage to blue-eyed soul delivers them in abundance. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga's songs are svelte, especially compared to Gimme Fiction, yet they're far from starved. Interesting details decorate the margins of these songs, whether it's the studio chatter that revs up "Don't You Evah" or the fascinatingly fragmented lyrics of "Eddie's Ragga" ("there ain't no getting over Joanie Hale-Maier"). Jon Brion pops up bass, chamberlain, and production duties on "The Underdog," one of Spoon's bounciest, brassiest nods to classic pop in a long time, and a perfect contrast to the exotic, spooky minimalism of "My Little Japanese Cigarette Case"'s shivery kotos and Spanish guitars. Did I do enough exercise and I've eaten enough?

I'm female, 5ft 4, 118 pounds, 16 years, quite good, but need loss of about 8 to 10 pounds in April, then I will be happy! So far so good:) Heres what I ate today and I did exercises. Breakfast - 2 pieces of bread all watered with a plant light on them and take egg - a cup of green tea. year - went to the gym just 90 minutes from the hill on the treadmill, running in low light for 10 minutes between the both master of the stairs 10 minutes and 20 min weight. breakfast - a healthy choice and Moroccan chicken salad rap under 400 calories and 10 grams of fat so im conjectures about 320-250cals, and a fruit salad added (8grapes, 3 pieces of green apple and 3 small pieces of apple red, 6 blue bays, 2 pieces of color orange and 2 small pieces of watermelon.) Is it sufficient for one day? I think another fruit salad for supper, keeping the light. I lose my weight April, if I keep it that way?

Her dulcet tones grace several songs -- particularly notable is the Baroque-flavored update of David Blue's "I'd Like to Know" and the trippy "Ice," which Lundquist co-wrote alongside Demos. The thoroughly explored reading of Albert King's "Born Under a Bad Sign" is an obvious homage to British supergroup trio Cream who had previously reworked it into a blues-fused jam. Listeners can even catch Barnaby's note-for-note recitation of Jack Bruce's foreboding bassline during the waning moments of the fade. Labes' "Yesterday's New Song" is a minor-chord masterwork. The gentle and understated melody perfectly supports some of the Apple Pie Motherhood Band's best vocal harmonies -- recalling the Association or Spanky & Our Gang at their affective best. Barnaby contributes the catchy and concise "Barnaby's Madness," and while the psych-meets-punk vibe is an earmark of the unit's Bosstown Sound roots, to a certain degree, the best of the band can be heard on the seven-plus minute slice of psych medley that links the group-penned instrumental "The Ultimate" to a blue-eyed soulful interpretation of Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon's "Contact." The number was a return to the Apple Pie Motherhood Band's prototype C.C. & the Chasers -- whose single "Put the Clock Back on the Wall" b/w "Two & Twenty" were both from the Bonner/Gordon songbook. Labes' quirky "The Way It Feels" may well have been inspired by Sopwith Camel's vintage sounding "Hello, Hello," while his upbeat "Apple Pie" is layered in sweet, harmony-laden sunshine pop. Apple Pie (1969) pulled double duty for the Boston-based Apple Pie Motherhood Band. It was both the follow-up to their 1968 self-titled debut as well as their swan song. By decades' end the combo consisted of founders Richard Barnaby (bass) -- now known as Dick Barnaby and also credited on bamboo flute, Jackie Bruno (drums), Ted Demos (guitar,) and Jeff Labes (organ/piano). Joe Castagno (guitar) was replaced by Michael Sorafine (guitar) and not one, but two frontmen were added by way of Bruce Paine (vocals) and Adam Meyers (harmonica/vocals). Unlike their former outing, nearly half of Apple Pie consists of reworkings of R&B classics, including a honky-tonkin' take of Chuck Berry's "Brown-Eyed Handsome Man," a wailing remake of the mod Motown entry "Get Ready," as well as an outstanding rave on Willie Dixon's "I Just Want to Make Love to You." The latter is in the unstoppable boogie mode of Canned Heat or the Canadian-based late-'60s blues outfit Crowbar, especially when they were joined by the harp blowin' King Biscuit Boy -- who is reminiscent of Meyers' contributions here. New recruit Sorafine brought along some of the best original tunes on the project. His expansive opener "Orangutang" is perfectly suited to this unit's heavier direction. Remaining as a focal point are Apple Pie Motherhood Band's crystalline vocal harmonies and lengthy electric lead guitar solos, which take on a collective intensity similar to that of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Sorafine serves the straight-ahead rocker "Grandmother Hooker" with sinuous double-lead intertwining guitars that evoke early Spirit sides such as "Mechanical World" or the jazzy "Elijah." Labes has laid low -- considering he wrote most of the tunes on the last LP -- but supplies the mid-tempo and well jammed out "Super Music Man." The strong melody is made all the more conspicuous thanks again to the inspired fretwork of Sorafine and Demos, not to mention Labes' soulful organ fills. Speaking of Demos, his ballad "Gypsy" is a lovely contrast to the edgier sound that permeates the better part of the platter with a Marty Balin-esque quality comparable to the Jefferson Airplane's "Things Are Better in the East." The eerie and foreboding "He Turned You On" is the final slice of Apple Pie.
