How can you sync songs from your iPod to your iTunes music library when the library does not have a song?

My computer has been re-formatted and forgot to put my music folder (I have a second hard drive is a back-up). Now, my iPod still has the songs, but my library iTunes is no more. Can anyone tell me if there is any way possible to synchronize the songs on my iPod to my iTunes library? Thank you.

You must import the songs. Go to iTunes and select File, Import. You will be able to import your music from the folder you are in.
