The best way to learn German?

I really want to learn German! I tried one thing my library audio books, but did not work. Do not tell Rosetta Stone! My computer is slow and his face too. I heard the tongue 30 (http://www.lang30.com/) is good, but I want to learn basic German. I can not use computer systems as I said before. I really want something that is full audio because I can put on my iPod. I do a lot of work on the tractor for the summer, so I can listening later. I do not a great budget but really want to learn German! My grandmother came from Germany when he was 10 years, and speaks fluent German, but I do not know if she is going to teach? Im 14.
