ITunes Question (s) for 10 points ...?

Suddenly, I can not burn a disc with iTunes. I get a message that says "Disc burner or software not found ". This has never happened before and use iTunes all the time. Besides, I have the software to install it again. My question (s): 1. How / Where I can get a new software (disc)? 2. If I reinstall iTunes, will I lose my music? 3. Why I can not update my iPod mini to the new version iTunes? I get a message saying "Connection Error" ... All systems go on my end. You can not solve this. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks in advance

The new version of iTunes is bugged. 7.0 and 1.2 are reported iPod horrible.
