ipod magic tricks

IPod Touch Permninantly blocked?

I have an iPod Touch with a password on it, with the exception of the iPod is locked, and there is no to remember the password. Is there some magic to unlock the iPod? I can not reset it, and will not register in my iTunes library until it is unlocked.
