gmail apple mail help

I can not send mail using my yahoo account for most of my Apple Mail application (OS X).?

(Please do not reply telling me to change Gmail.) I have an gmail account as well. Is it really necessary to keep the Yahoo account and need to work. Mail "program" created "all protocols incoming and outgoing server automatically and it looks good, but I can not send anything. It seems so simple but .... I need help! Thanks!
